NEW EUROPEAN REGULATION CONCERNING THE SALE OF AIR CONDITIONERS F-Gas (EU No. 517/2014) (to read the decree in full)

Under EU Regulation 517/2014 (F-Gaz) and Article R.543-84 & 85 of the Environmental Code, purchasers of pre-loaded equipment are subject to new conditions at the time of purchase. This Regulation clarifies the provisions relating to the use of certain refrigerants and fluorinated greenhouse gases.

Only installers with up-to-date capacity certificates will be able to acquire split system air conditioners.

In accordance with this regulation, we hold the Certificate of Fitness for Handling Refrigerants.

We also possess the Certificate of Capacity Category I, issued by BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATION approved by ministerial decision.

This certification is mandatory for leakage testing, maintenance, commissioning and recovery of fluids from all refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment

A copy of this document will be provided to you upon request.

Moreover, in accordance with the regulations, all our installations are subjected to a leakage test.
